Ingredients
1200 g (about 2.6 lbs) live freshwater shrimp.
Seasonings
Chopped scallion 1/2 tablespoon, minced ginger 3 teaspoons, fine salt 2 teaspoons, Shaoxing wine and soy sauce 1 tablespoon each, MSG, sesame oil, and ground white pepper 1 teaspoon each.
Instructions
1. Rinse the live shrimp thoroughly and drain well.
2. Mix the minced scallions, minced ginger, salt, soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, MSG, and sesame oil in a bowl, then pour the mixture over the live shrimp and immediately cover the bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, then sprinkle with white pepper before serving. This dish is delicious and highly nutritious.
