Processing
Take He Shou Wu (Polygonum multiflorum) slices or chunks, according to the stewing method, mix evenly with black bean juice, place in a suitable non-iron container, and stew until the juice is fully absorbed; or according to the steaming method, steam directly or mix evenly with black bean juice and then steam until the inside and outside are both brownish-black, or sun-dry until half-dry, slice, and dry. For every 100 kg of He Shou Wu slices (or chunks), use 10 kg of black beans. (1. Stewing method: Place the material to be processed according to the provisions of each variety, add liquid adjuvant, place in a suitable container, seal, and stew over water or steam until thoroughly cooked, or until the adjuvant is completely absorbed. Cool, remove, air-dry to 60% dryness, slice, and dry. 2. Steaming method: Sort the material to be processed by size, according to the provisions of each variety, add clean water or liquid adjuvant, mix evenly and moisten thoroughly, place in a suitable steaming container, heat with steam to the specified degree, remove, let cool slightly, mix back the steamed liquid, then air-dry to 60% dryness, slice or cut into segments, and dry. 3. Black bean juice preparation method: Take 10 kg of black beans, add an appropriate amount of water, boil for about 4 hours, decoct to obtain about 15 kg of juice. Add water to the bean dregs and boil for about 3 hours, decoct to obtain about 10 kg of juice. Combine to obtain about 25 kg of black bean juice.)
Medicinal Properties
This product is in the form of irregularly wrinkled and shrunken pieces, approximately 1 cm thick. The surface is dark brown or brownish-brown, uneven and bumpy. The texture is hard, the cross-section is horny, brownish-brown or black. Odor: faint; Taste: slightly sweet, bitter, and astringent.

Used for blood deficiency with sallow complexion, dizziness and tinnitus, premature graying of hair and beard, soreness and weakness of the lower back and knees, numbness of the limbs, uterine bleeding and vaginal discharge, and hyperlipidemia.
