Processing

Take Banxia (Pinellia), separate by size, soak in water until the core is no longer dry, then remove. Separately, take an appropriate amount of Gancao (Licorice), decoct in water twice, combine the decoctions, pour into a lime solution made with an appropriate amount of water, stir well, add the pre-soaked Banxia, soak, stirring 1-2 times daily, and maintain the pH of the soaking solution above 12. When the cross-section becomes uniformly yellow and a slight numbing sensation is felt on the tongue, remove, wash, dry in the shade or by baking, and obtain the product.
