
Ingredients
300 g (about 1 1/2 cups) cooked rice, 150 g (about 5 oz) beef, 50 g (about 1/3 cup) sliced onion, 50 g (about 1/3 cup) konjac noodles, 30 g (about 1 oz) tofu.
Seasonings
A few scallion segments, 1 tablespoon each of cooking wine, soy sauce, and aged broth.
Steps
1. Rinse the beef and slice it thinly; peel the onion and cut it into fine strips; place the rice in a large bowl.
2. Lightly toast the tofu over a flame, then cut into small slices.
3. Mix together the cooking wine, soy sauce, and broth, then pour into the pot and bring to a boil. Add the beef slices, shredded onion, konjac noodles, tofu slices, and scallion segments, and bring to a boil again. Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for about 2 minutes. Ladle the hot mixture over steamed rice and serve immediately.
