
Ingredients
250 g (about 2 cups) cooked rice, 100 g (about 3.5 oz) rehydrated sea cucumber, 50 g (about 1.75 oz) white king oyster mushroom.
Seasonings
Monosodium glutamate (MSG), light soy sauce, oyster sauce, and superior broth, each to taste.
Steps
1. Soak the sea cucumbers until fully rehydrated, then wash and clean them thoroughly, and simmer in broth until infused with flavor.
2. Wash the king oyster mushrooms, slice them thinly, then simmer in broth until flavorful. Remove and place at the bottom of a bowl. Add rice on top, then cut the sea cucumber into thick strips and arrange over the rice.
3. Bring the oyster sauce, soy sauce, MSG, and broth to a boil in a pot, then pour the mixture into the bowl and serve.
