Seasonings
200 g cooked rice, 250 g (about 1/2 lb) silver cod fillet, 3 broccoli florets, green peas to taste, a little minced onion and beaten egg.
Seasonings
Salt and white pepper to taste, a pinch of MSG (optional), 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine, 3 tablespoons ketchup, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
Steps
1. Clean and prepare the silver cod, cut into large pieces, marinate with a pinch of salt, MSG, cooking wine, white pepper, and beaten egg for 15 minutes; wash the broccoli, blanch in boiling water until just cooked, then drain.
2. Heat oil in a wok until hot, pan-fry the silver cod until fully cooked, then add the minced onion and stir-fry until fragrant. Add sugar, ketchup, and a small amount of water, and simmer until the flavors meld. Stir in green peas, drizzle with sesame oil, and serve over steamed rice. Garnish with lightly stir-fried broccoli.
