Braised Pork and Onion Rice

Seasonings

300 g (about 10.5 oz) cooked rice, 200 g (about 7 oz) beef, 100 g (about 3.5 oz) pork, and diced onion to taste.

Seasonings

Salt, pepper, beef broth, and vegetable oil to taste, 100 g (about 3/4 cup) flour, and 1 tablespoon cream.

Steps

1. Clean the pork and beef, then cut into small cubes; stir-fry the flour in hot oil until cooked; place the rice on a plate.

2. Place a pot over heat, add butter and melt it, then stir-fry the diced onion until golden brown. Add the diced pork and beef and cook through, then pour in enough clear broth to braise until tender. Stir in a suitable amount of roux to thicken the sauce, season with salt and pepper to taste, and ladle over hot steamed rice to serve.
