25 g (about 1 oz) rehydrated wood ear mushrooms and 25 red dates.
Seasonings
Sugar, to taste.
Instructions
1. Rinse the rehydrated wood ear mushrooms, pick them clean, and tear into small pieces; wash the red dates and remove the pits.
2. Place the red dates, wood ear mushrooms, and sugar into an earthenware pot, add enough water to cover, and cook until the dates and mushrooms are tender. Transfer to a soup bowl and serve.
