Stir-Fried Shepherd's Purse (Vegetarian)

Ingredients

250 g (about 1/2 lb) shepherd's purse

Seasonings

Peanut oil, yellow rice wine, salt, and MSG, each to taste.

Instructions

1. Wash and trim the shepherd's purse thoroughly.

2. Place the wok over high heat, add peanut oil and heat until hot. Add the shepherd's purse and stir-fry vigorously until wilted. Pour in a small amount of water, cover the wok, and cook for 3-5 minutes. Add salt, Shaoxing wine, and MSG, stir-fry a few more times, then remove from the wok and serve.
