Ingredients
150 g (about 1 1/4 cups) all-purpose flour, 3 g (about 1/2 teaspoon) baking soda, 225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, 100 g (3.5 oz) dark chocolate.
Seasonings
150 g white sugar, 50 g each of butter and eggs.
Steps
1. Beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth, then add milk and lemon zest, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved.
2. Beat the butter and sugar together for about 5 minutes, then mix in the egg. Add the flour mixture and stir by hand until combined, then fold in the cream cheese and melted dark chocolate until smooth.
3. Place the cookie dough into a piping bag. Pipe small round cookies onto a baking sheet, then bake at 180°C (350°F) for 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely. Spread the cream cheese filling between two cookies to form sandwiches, then dust the tops with powdered sugar.
