250 g (about 2 cups) all-purpose flour, 5 g (1 teaspoon) baking powder, 100 g (about 1 cup) sliced almonds, 10 g (about 2 tablespoons) grated orange zest, 150 g (about 2/3 cup) unsalted butter, 150 g (about 3/4 cup) granulated sugar.

1 g salt, 100 g (about 2 large) eggs.
Steps
1. Place almond slices in a preheated 160°C (320°F) oven and bake for 5 minutes.
2. Mix all the ingredients together, stir until evenly combined to form the cookie dough, then roll it into a log shape about 6 cm (2.4 inches) in diameter.
3. Gently press down with your palm, then place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 8 minutes.
4. Remove from the oven, cut into 0.8 cm (about 1/3 inch) thick biscotti strips, then return to the oven and bake at 160°C (320°F) for 8 minutes; remove and they are ready to serve.
