
Ingredients
80 g honey, 150 g heavy cream, 200 g sliced almonds, 1 almond cake base.
Seasonings
200 g (about 1 cup) white sugar, 80 g (about 1/3 cup) butter.
Steps
1. Place the heavy cream in a stainless steel saucepan, add the honey, and bring to a boil on an induction cooktop.
2. Add the granulated sugar and butter, stirring continuously until well combined.
3. Turn off the heat once the mixture has thickened from heating and stirring.
4. Then add the sliced almonds and gently mix until just combined.
5. Place the almond cake base into the mold, then pour in the filling until it reaches one-third full, and smooth the surface.
6. Place in a preheated oven and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes until the surface is golden brown.
