Red Bean Paste Sesame Bread

Ingredients

200 g bread flour, 150 g eggs, 50 g sweet red bean paste filling, 20 g cake flour.

Seasonings

30 g white sugar, 15 g white sesame seeds, 2 g each of bread improver, yeast, and salt.

Steps

1. Combine bread flour, cake flour, bread improver, yeast, white sugar, salt, eggs, and a small amount of water, mixing well and kneading into a smooth dough. Let it rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.

2. Divide the sweet red bean paste filling into 10 g portions.

3. Place the risen dough on a work surface, press it down to release any air bubbles, then knead it until smooth. Roll it into a long log and divide into small pieces. Use a rolling pin to flatten each piece into a large oval, place red bean paste filling in the center, and seal it closed. Roll into an oblong shape, score the surface with a knife in a decorative pattern, then let it rise for another 30 minutes to form the final shaped dough.

4. Brush the dough with a thin layer of egg wash, coat with white sesame seeds, place on a baking sheet, then bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 15 minutes, until golden brown and shiny, then remove and serve.
