Braised Fish with Hot Green Peppers

Ingredients

50 g pollack, 200 g fresh fish, 1 g sesame seeds, 30 g cabbage leaves.

Seasonings

10 g sugar, 10 g scallion shreds, 10 g vegetable oil, 50 g hot green peppers, 5 g minced garlic, 1 g minced ginger, 30 g soy sauce, 0.3 g ground white pepper, 5 g sugar.

Instructions

1. Cut the fresh fish into 3 cm (about 1-inch) pieces; wash the hot green peppers and set aside.

2. Line a small pot with cabbage leaves, then neatly arrange the fresh fish and hot green peppers on top. Add soy sauce, sugar, ginger, and 1 liter of water, then bring to a simmer.

3. When the broth has reduced by half, add vegetable oil to the center and continue simmering, then add ground white pepper, scallions, and garlic, top with sesame seeds, and transfer to a serving plate.
