Korean BBQ Chicken

Make juicy Korean BBQ chicken at home with this easy recipe. Tender chicken and tofu are grilled in a savory soy-garlic sauce for a rich, caramelized finish.

Ingredients

Chicken 400 g (about 14 oz), tofu 100 g (about 3.5 oz).

Seasonings

2 g (about 1/2 teaspoon) each of sesame salt and sugar, 20 g (about 4 teaspoons) soy sauce, 20 g (about 1/4 cup) chopped scallions, 15 g (about 3 cloves) garlic, 3 g (about 1/2 teaspoon) grated ginger, and 5 g (about 1 teaspoon) sesame oil.

Instructions

1. Finely chop the chicken and tofu, then season with scallions, garlic, soy sauce, and ginger juice.

2. Spread the chicken to a thickness of 0.5 cm (about 1/4 inch) on parchment paper, cut a few slits in the meat, then sprinkle with fine salt. Place it on a wire rack and grill, brushing repeatedly with the seasoning sauce as it cooks, until it turns a rich reddish-brown color.

3. Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove the parchment paper, cut it into attractive pieces, arrange on a plate, and serve with the dipping sauce.
