Almond and Double Date Sweet Soup

Ingredients

50 g red dates and 50 g black dates, 20 g dried almonds.

Seasonings

White sugar, to taste.

Steps

1. Soak the almonds in clean water until fully softened, then remove the skins, rinse, and drain; wash the red dates and black dates separately and remove their pits.

2. Place the pot over high heat, add enough water, and first add the red dates and black dates. Bring to a rolling boil, skim off any foam, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes.

3. Then add the almonds and white sugar, continue cooking for about 10 minutes, then remove from heat and serve in bowls.
