
Ingredients
200 g sweet potato (yam), 100 g snow pear.
Seasonings
Crystal sugar to taste.
Steps
1. Peel the sweet potato, soak it in clean water, then rinse and drain, and cut into large chunks.
2. Wash the pear, peel it, cut it in half lengthwise, remove the core, and cut into small pieces.
3. Place a clean pot over high heat, add enough water, then add the pear chunks and sweet potato chunks and bring to a boil. Skim off any foam from the surface, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 20 minutes. Then add rock sugar and continue cooking for 5 minutes before removing from heat and serving in bowls.
