
Ingredients
200 g water chestnuts, 150 g sugarcane, 50 g red dates, 10 g dried longan meat.
Seasonings
Crystal sugar to taste.
Steps
1. Remove the joints from the sugarcane, wash it, peel off the outer skin, and chop into small sections; peel the water chestnuts, wash them, and cut into small pieces; wash the red dates and remove the pits.
2. Place a pot on the stove, add enough water to cover, then add the sugarcane segments, water chestnut pieces, red dates, and dried longan meat. Bring to a boil over high heat, then cover with a lid, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for about 50 minutes. Add rock sugar and cook until dissolved, then serve.
