
Ingredients
200 g Chinese yam (about 7 oz), 1 lily bulb, 1000 g water (about 4 cups).
Seasonings
50 g (about 1/4 cup) rock sugar.
Steps
1. Wash the yam, peel it, and cut into small cubes; trim and clean the lily bulb, then slice into pieces.
2. Place the yam and lily bulbs together in a pot, add water, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Finally, add rock sugar, turn off the heat, and let it cool before serving.
