Pineapple Red Bean Ice

Ingredients

200 g pineapple, 100 g (about 1/2 cup) red beans.

Seasonings

Salt, sugar, and ice cubes, each to taste.

Steps

1. Peel the pineapple, soak it in lightly salted water, then rinse and drain thoroughly before cutting into large chunks.

2. Rinse the red beans thoroughly, then place them in a pot with water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until the beans are fully cooked. Drain the beans, transfer them to a large bowl, and stir in the pineapple chunks until well combined.

3. Place a clean pot over the heat, add an appropriate amount of water, then add the sugar and cook until dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool to create a simple syrup. Pour the syrup into a large bowl, add ice cubes, and stir to combine.
