Ingredients
200 g (about 1 cup) pineapple.
Seasonings
Salt, sugar, rock sugar, and ice cubes, each to taste.
Steps
1. Place a clean pot over heat, add an appropriate amount of water and bring to a boil, then add rock sugar and white sugar, cooking until fully dissolved; remove from heat, strain to create rock sugar syrup, transfer to a bowl, and let cool.
2. Peel the pineapple, soak it in lightly salted water, then rinse and drain. Cut into small chunks, blanch in boiling water, remove and rinse under cold water, then drain thoroughly.
3. Add the pineapple chunks to the cooled rock sugar water, then stir in ice cubes and serve.
