
Ingredients
1 snake fruit (about 300 g), 100 g water chestnuts, 50 g candied dates.
Seasonings
Salt to taste and rock sugar to taste.
Steps
1. Wash the snake fruit, cut it in half, remove the core, and cut into large chunks; wash the candied dates; peel the water chestnuts, soak them in lightly salted water, then rinse and drain, and cut into small dice.
2. Place a clean pot over high heat, add enough water, then add the candied dates, snake fruit pieces, and water chestnut cubes. Bring to a rolling boil, skim off any foam, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 50 minutes. Finally, add rock sugar and cook until dissolved. Serve.
