Grilled Miso Tofu

Ingredients

1 box silken tofu, 100 g (about 3.5 oz) ground beef, 10 g sesame seeds, 5 g each of minced onion, minced shiitake mushrooms, minced garlic chives, minced mustard greens, and minced celery.

Seasonings

Salt, chicken bouillon, sugar, Korean chili paste, light soy sauce, and sesame oil, 1/2 teaspoon each, plus 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.

Steps

1. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into rib-shaped slices.

2. Add the ground beef to a hot oiled wok and stir-fry until crumbled, then add the onion, mushrooms, and mustard greens and stir-fry until well combined. Stir in chili sauce, light soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds to create the sauce.

3. Toss the celery with salt, sugar, chicken bouillon, and sesame oil, then spread it on the bottom of a plate. Pan-fry the tofu in hot oil until golden brown, place it on top of the celery, drizzle with the sauce, and sprinkle with minced garlic chives and sesame seeds.
