
Ingredients
350 g (about 12 oz) fresh fava beans, 150 g (about 5 oz) shelled shrimp.
Seasonings
4/5 teaspoon salt, 2/5 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder, water starch and baking soda to taste, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
Steps
1. Wash the shrimp and fava beans, then blanch them separately in boiling water with a pinch of baking soda, drain well.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat, add the shrimp and broad beans along with salt and chicken bouillon, stir-fry until evenly seasoned, thicken with a cornstarch slurry, then remove from the wok and plate to serve.
