Millet Flour Tea

Ingredients

100 g (about 3.5 oz) millet flour

Seasonings

25 g sesame paste, 10 g sesame seeds, sesame oil and salt to taste, a pinch of ginger powder.

Instructions

1. Rinse the sesame seeds to remove any impurities, drain well, then dry-fry in a pan until golden brown. Crush them finely and mix with salt.

2. Place the pot over heat, add an appropriate amount of water along with the ginger powder, bring to a boil, then pour in the millet flour mixture that has been stirred into a thin paste, stir briefly, and once it comes to a boil again, ladle it into bowls.

3. Mix the sesame paste with sesame oil until smooth, then drizzle it into the bowl with a small spoon, and sprinkle with sesame salt before serving. This millet flour tea is savory and aromatic. It is rich in protein, fat, calcium, iron, phosphorus, vitamin B1, vitamin E, and other nutrients, and has the effect of replenishing qi and strengthening the body.
