Rice Cooked in Milk

Ingredients

500 g (about 1 lb) rice and 500 ml (about 2 cups) milk.

Instructions

Rinse the rice thoroughly, place it in a pot, add milk and enough water to cover, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat until fully cooked. This rice dish is fragrant with milk, soft and white with a glossy sheen, and rich in protein, fat, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, and vitamins A, B1, B2, E, D, and niacin.
