Skewered Pan-Fried Wontons

Ingredients

1 box of wonton wrappers, minced French parsley to taste.

Seasonings

2 teaspoons each of cooking oil, salad oil, and chili powder.

Instructions

1. Preheat a flat-bottomed pan, add an appropriate amount of oil, swirl the pan to evenly coat the bottom with salad oil, then reduce the heat to low.

2. Place the wontons flat in a non-stick skillet, arranging them neatly, and pan-fry the bottoms until golden brown. Turn the heat to high, add water, and bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and continue cooking. When you hear the oil sizzling, reduce the heat to low, remove the lid, and cook slowly until all the moisture has evaporated. Turn off the heat and lift the wontons out with a small spatula.

3. Skewer the wontons on bamboo sticks, 3 per skewer, sprinkle with chopped parsley on top, then add chili powder to taste according to personal preference, arrange on a plate and serve.
