Barley, Red Date, and Glutinous Rice Porridge

Ingredients

60 g wheat berries, 15 g red dates (jujubes), 30 g glutinous rice.

Instructions

Bring a clay pot of water to a boil, then add wheat, glutinous rice, and pitted jujubes. Cook into a porridge using the usual method until the wheat and rice are tender and fully cooked. Serve with brown sugar added, and consume in several portions. This porridge strengthens the spleen, replenishes qi, stops sweating, and calms the mind.
