Shrimp and Winter Melon Soup

Ingredients

5 g (about 1/6 oz) shrimp, 300 g (about 10 1/2 oz) winter melon.

Seasonings

To taste sesame oil and fine salt.

Instructions

1. Shell the shrimp, rinse them clean, drain well, and place in a bowl.

2. Wash the winter melon, peel and remove the seeds, then cut into small domino-sized pieces. Place the shrimp in a pot with cold water and cook until tender, then add the winter melon and cook together until the melon is soft. Season with salt, transfer to a soup bowl, and drizzle with sesame oil.
