Ingredients
100 g beef (about 3.5 oz), 80 g mung bean vermicelli (about 3 oz), 25 g dried shrimp (about 1 oz).
Seasonings
Salt, Shaoxing wine, cornstarch, MSG, and sesame oil, each to taste.
Instructions
1. Slice the beef thinly, then mix with cornstarch, Shaoxing wine, salt, and MSG until well combined.
2. Once the water in the pot comes to a boil, first add the beef slices, cover and let it boil briefly, then add the vermicelli that has been softened in hot water, cover and cook for about 5 minutes, uncover, add salt and MSG, bring to a boil again, then pour into a soup bowl and drizzle with sesame oil.
