Ingredients
2 hearts of Napa cabbage (about 250 g / 1/2 lb), 8 red dates (jujubes), 1 egg, 1/2 cup milk.
Instructions
1. Wash the napa cabbage hearts, cut into about 5 cm (2-inch) sections, blanch in boiling water, then drain and set aside.
2. Add the red dates and two bowls of water, then simmer for half an hour until the liquid reduces to about one bowl. Pour in the milk, bring to a boil, then add the napa cabbage heart. Once boiling again, crack in the egg and quickly stir with chopsticks to create egg flower ribbons. This soup helps nourish the blood, beautify the skin, and moisturize the complexion.
