Chicken Soup with Goji Berries and Lotus Seeds

Ingredients

Chicken 210 g (about 7.5 oz), dried lotus seeds 60 g (about 2 oz), goji berries 30 g (about 1 oz), red dates 12, water 800 ml (about 3.5 cups).

Seasonings

Salt to taste.

Instructions

1. Rinse the goji berries and red dates; wash the chicken and cut into pieces; rinse the lotus seeds and set aside.

2. Place the ingredients in water, bring to a boil over high heat, skim off any foam, then reduce to low heat and simmer until the ingredients are tender. Season with salt to taste. This soup is refreshing and appetizing, nourishes the heart and kidneys, and helps calm the mind.
