Bean Sprout and Pork Soup

Ingredients

200 g pork and 200 g soybean sprouts, 3 shiitake mushrooms, 20 g tender cilantro.

Seasonings

1 teaspoon salt, sesame oil, pepper, and cooking wine to taste, 1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder, 1000 g (about 4 cups) broth, vegetable oil as needed.

Steps

1. Rinse the pork and slice it; remove the stems from the shiitake mushrooms, rinse and cut into strips; pick over and wash the soybean sprouts and cilantro, then cut the cilantro into segments.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a pot, add the pork slices and cooking wine, stir-fry until fragrant, then pour in the broth and bring to a boil.

3. Add the shredded shiitake mushrooms, soybean sprouts, salt, and chicken bouillon, bring to a boil, season with white pepper, drizzle with sesame oil, and sprinkle with cilantro before serving.
