
Ingredients
1 small free-range chicken, cleaned, and 2 lily bulbs.
Seasonings
15 g (about 1/2 oz) goji berries, 1 teaspoon salt, a pinch of chicken bouillon powder.
Steps
1. Trim the roots and peel the outer skin from the lily bulbs, rinse clean, and break into small pieces; place the goji berries in a bowl, add a little water to soften, and chop the free-range chicken into pieces.
2. Place the pot over heat, add water and bring to a boil. Add the free-range chicken pieces and blanch briefly, then remove and drain.
3. Place in a large soup bowl, add enough water to submerge the chicken pieces, then steam in a steamer basket over high heat for about 1 hour.
4. Add the lily bulb pieces and goji berries, then continue steaming for about 20 minutes. Season with salt and chicken bouillon, then remove and serve.
