750 g (about 1.6 lbs) old duck, 40 g lingzhi mushroom (reishi mushroom), 10 g candied dates, 1 small piece dried tangerine peel.

Salt to taste.
Steps
1. Rinse the lingzhi mushrooms and candied dates; soak the dried tangerine peel until soft, then rinse.
2. Clean and prepare the old duck, then drain well and chop into small pieces.
3. Bring an appropriate amount of water to a boil in a pot, then add the old duck pieces, reishi mushrooms, candied dates, and dried tangerine peel, and bring to a boil over high heat.
4. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 3 hours until the duck is tender and fully cooked, then season with salt to taste.
