Ingredients

300 g (about 10 oz) skinless cod fillet, sliced, 1 block firm tofu, 80 g (about 1/2 cup) dried cabbage pieces, 80 g (about 1/2 cup) sliced beef, 50 g (about 1/4 cup) clams, 30 g (about 1/4 cup) green chili pepper rings.

Seasonings

10 g chopped scallion, 5 g minced garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon MSG, a pinch of white pepper, 1 tablespoon chili paste, 2 tablespoons lard, and an appropriate amount of fresh broth.

Steps

1. Rinse the tofu and cut it into small cubes.

2. Heat oil in a pot until hot, then add minced scallions, minced garlic, and chili paste, stir-frying until fragrant, then add dried cabbage and stir-fry until evenly combined.

3. Then add clear broth and bring to a boil, add cod, tofu, beef slices, hot pepper rings, salt, MSG, and pepper, and simmer briefly until cooked.
