
Ingredients
200 g chicken legs (about 7 oz), 12 chestnuts, 5 g goji berries.
Seasonings
2 slices of eucommia bark, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and rice wine lees and broth to taste.
Steps
1. Rinse the Eucommia bark and goji berries; soak the chestnuts until soft, then shell and rinse them; wash the chicken leg and chop into pieces.
2. Place a pot over heat, add water and bring to a boil. Add the chicken leg pieces and blanch briefly, then remove, rinse, and drain.
3. Place the chicken leg pieces, eucommia bark, chestnuts, and goji berries into a stewing pot, then pour in fermented rice wine and broth, seal the pot, and steam in a steamer basket over water for about 1 hour. Remove, season with salt to taste, and serve.
