
Ingredients
300 g (about 10 oz) pork ribs, 1 fresh corn cob (about 150 g / 5 oz), 50 g (about 1.8 oz) each carrot and lotus root.
Seasonings
5 g ginger slices, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon cooking wine, and a dash of sesame oil.
Steps
1. Peel the carrots, wash them, and cut into thick slices; wash the corn and cut into chunks.
2. Rinse the pork ribs, chop into pieces, blanch in boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
3. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add ginger slices, cooking wine, and pork ribs, and cook for 30 minutes. Add carrots, corn, and lotus root, cook until tender, then season with salt and sesame oil. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve.
