Ingredients
650 g (about 1.3 lbs) lamb, 40 g Chinese yam, 650 g (about 3 cups) chicken broth.
Seasonings
20 g goji berries, 13 g MSG, a few slices of ginger, and salt to taste.
Instructions
1. Place the lamb in water and cook until done, then cut into chunks. Return the lamb to the pot with sliced ginger and stir-fry until fragrant.
2. Place the lamb in a clay pot, add Chinese yam, goji berries, chicken broth, MSG, and salt, then steam in a steamer for two hours until done. This dish is a winter tonic, savory and flavorful, with a light brown sauce.
