Cucumber Strips Tossed with Hot Oil

Ingredients

300 g cucumber (about 10 oz)

Seasonings

Vegetable oil, red vinegar, sesame oil, salt, MSG, scallion, and ginger, all to taste.

Instructions

1. Wash the cucumber, then cut it into finger-sized strips; peel and wash the scallions and ginger separately, then finely chop them.

2. Place a pan over heat, add vegetable oil as needed, then stir-fry minced scallion and ginger until fragrant. Add the cucumber strips, salt to taste, a pinch of MSG, sesame oil, and red vinegar. Toss everything evenly, remove from heat, and plate for serving.
