Braised Tofu with Mushrooms

Ingredients

50 g fresh mushrooms, 25 g bamboo shoot slices, 4 pieces of tender tofu, and some clear broth as needed.

Seasonings

Monosodium glutamate (MSG), soy sauce, fine salt, cooking wine, and sesame oil, each to taste.

Instructions

1. Cut the tofu into small cubes, place them in a pot of cold water with some cooking wine, and bring to a boil over high heat until small holes appear around the tofu, then drain and discard the water.

2. Add bamboo shoots, fresh mushrooms, soy sauce, salt, and clear broth to the tofu, making sure the liquid covers the tofu. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, then sprinkle with MSG and drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
