Ingredients
400 g (about 14 oz) tender asparagus lettuce tips
Seasonings
3 g fine salt, 10 g each of sesame paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil, 0.5 g MSG.
Instructions
1. Peel the asparagus lettuce tips, trim them neatly, then cut the thick end into four sections, slicing about 3/5 of the way up the tip. Blanch in boiling water until just cooked through, then remove and drain.
2. Sprinkle with fine salt to taste, toss well, then spread out and arrange neatly on a plate. Drizzle with a dressing made from sesame paste, soy sauce, MSG, and sesame oil. This dish is crisp and tender, rich with sesame aroma, deliciously savory, and refreshingly light.
