Ingredients
500 g tomatoes (about 1 lb), 1 block of tofu.
Seasonings
2 scallions, and appropriate amounts of MSG, oil, sugar, salt, cornstarch, and ketchup.
Instructions
1. Cut the tofu into small cubes, briefly blanch in boiling water, then remove and drain well.
2. Wash the scallions and cut into sections; remove the stems from the tomatoes and cut into wedges.
3. Heat oil in a wok, add scallions and stir-fry until fragrant, then add tomatoes and stir-fry briefly before adding tofu and cooking for 8 minutes. Season to taste, add ketchup, thicken with a cornstarch slurry, and stir in scallions before serving.
