Ingredients
500 g (about 1 lb) snow peas, green and red bell peppers to taste.
Seasonings
Ginger, scallions, salt, vegetable oil, light soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, MSG, and sesame oil, each to taste.
Instructions
1. Finely chop the ginger and scallions; rinse the snow peas and quickly pickle them with some salt; julienne both the green and red bell peppers.
2. Heat the wok, add vegetable oil, and sauté the scallions and minced ginger until fragrant. Add the green and red bell pepper strips, then squeeze the excess water from the snow peas and add them to the wok. Stir-fry briefly, then add light soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar. Continue stir-frying until the peas are cooked through. Season with a little MSG and drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
