Steamed Turtle

Ingredients

750 g (about 1.65 lbs) softshell turtle, 30 g (about 1 oz) chicken wings, 500 ml (about 2 cups) clear broth.

Seasonings

15 g each of scallions and ginger, 5 g salt, 2 g MSG (or to taste), and 1 g white pepper.

Instructions

1. Clean the turtle by removing the innards, then blanch it together with the chicken wings in boiling water and drain. Place in a bowl, add salt, MSG, white pepper, scallions, ginger, and enough clear broth, then steam until tender.

2. Once steamed until tender, remove and discard the scallions, ginger, and chicken wings, then serve. This dish is highly nutritious and offers excellent health and dietary benefits.
