Cold Tossed Lettuce Salad

Ingredients

Lettuce, tomato, and celery, 100 g (about 3.5 oz) each; okra, onion, baby corn, carrot, and cucumber, 50 g (about 1.75 oz) each.

Seasonings

1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon each of black pepper and lemon juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil.

Steps

1. Wash and prepare the tomatoes, celery, okra, onion, baby corn, carrot, and cucumber separately, then cut them all into small pieces; wash the lettuce.

2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the salad dressing.

3. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a plate as a base, then layer the remaining vegetable pieces on top. Drizzle with the prepared salad dressing and toss well just before serving.
