Stir-Fried Red Bell Pepper and Celery

Ingredients

500 g (about 1 lb) celery, 100 g (about 1 large) red bell pepper.

Seasonings

20 g minced garlic, 20 g chili powder, 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon MSG, 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 teaspoons shrimp paste, and 2 teaspoons white vinegar.

Steps

1. Remove the root and tough outer skin from the celery, wash it, and cut into thick strips; remove the stem and seeds from the red bell pepper, wash it, and cut into strips.

2. Place the celery strips in a container, add salt and mix well, then let marinate for 20 minutes before squeezing out the excess water. In a separate container, combine minced garlic, white vinegar, sugar, MSG, shrimp paste, and chili powder, stirring evenly to create the marinade.

3. Add the celery strips and red bell pepper strips, mix well, seal the container, and let it marinate in a cool place for 2 days before serving.
