
Ingredients
300 g fresh tender cucumbers (about 10 oz)
Seasonings
Sichuan peppercorns 20 pieces, dried chili pepper segments 10 g (about 1/3 oz), salt 1 teaspoon, MSG 1/2 teaspoon, vegetable oil 4 teaspoons.
Steps
1. Remove the stem ends of the cucumber, wash it, cut into sections, use the tip of a knife to remove the seeds, then cut into small strips, place in a bowl, add salt and mix well.
2. Place the pan over heat, add vegetable oil and heat until hot, then add dried chili pepper segments and Sichuan peppercorns, stir-frying until fragrant.
3. Add the cucumber strips, toss in MSG and stir-fry briefly until well combined, then transfer to a plate and let cool before serving.
