Green Pepper and Bean Curd Sheet Salad

Ingredients

150 g tofu, 100 g green bell pepper.

Seasonings

Salt 1/2 teaspoon, sugar 1/2 teaspoon, a pinch of MSG (or to taste), sesame oil 1 teaspoon.

Steps

1. Remove the stems and seeds from the green peppers, wash them, blanch in boiling water until just tender, remove and rinse under cold water, drain well, cut into small diamond-shaped pieces, place in a bowl, and sprinkle with salt to marinate for 10 minutes.

2. Rinse the tofu, place it in a pot with enough water to cover, bring to a boil over high heat, cook for 5 minutes, then remove and let cool before cutting into small diamond-shaped slices.

3. Add the sliced green peppers to a plate, mix in sugar and MSG until well combined, then drizzle with sesame oil just before serving.
