Five-Flavor Squid

Seasonings

2 squid, 50 g (about 1/4 cup) sliced small radishes, and a little bit each of diced red chili pepper and minced cilantro.

Seasonings

5 g each minced scallion, minced ginger, and minced garlic, 1 tablespoon sugar, 3 tablespoons ketchup, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon each rice vinegar and sesame oil.

Steps

1. Split the squid open, peel off the inner membrane, rinse clean, and cut into small strips. Blanch in boiling water until cooked, then drain and place on a plate.

2. Place the sliced radish in a bowl, add diced red bell pepper, chopped cilantro, scallions, ginger, and garlic, then mix in sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined. Pour this mixture over the squid and serve.
